A private tour with WeVenture Boston is always a completely custom itinerary, created just for you and your group!

This private experience can be from 2 hours – 10 hours, depending on the itinerary. While many visitors to Boston have specific sites they would like to see, many are happy to let our team create a custom tour itinerary that fits their interests, budget, mobility, and timeline. Typically, tours spend most of their time in and around central Boston, but we welcome any ideas for your dream tour.

No two groups are alike and we will plan a trip tailored to your group’s interests, budget, and needs. Below are some sample itineraries to use as inspiration for your perfect tour:

Highlights Tour:

A 2-3–hour walking tour designed to give you a taste of Harvard life will keep you in and around Harvard’s classic campus, perhaps visiting the beautiful, gothic Memorial Hall and charming Memorial Church. Enjoy other Harvard views which includes other campus buildings, marveling at the whispering arch at Sever Hall, or taking a stroll across “Havahd Yahd” – as seen in movies such as Good Will Hunting and The Firm. You may even have time to explore the lush Cambridge Common or Harvard Square, a favorite shopping and socializing spot for students.

Half-Day Tour:

A half-day tour allows more opportunity for you to explore Harvard and Cambridge history and culture. You’ll take your time exploring campus, stepping into public buildings, hearing tales about famous alumni (you’ll certainly know their names), and shopping at the world-famous Harvard Coop! Your journey could include stopping for lunch or a coffee in Harvard Square while trying to blend in with the co-eds (maybe a New England classic like a lobster roll!), discover the picturesque town of Cambridge, itself, or sample a sweet treat originally created in this college town inside a big city.

Full-Day Tour:

A full-day tour gives you the chance to explore more of Boston, in addition to Harvard and Cambridge. Perhaps you’ll want to take in a Crimson sporting event (we can pre-arrange depending on the time of year), venture to the hip Seaport District for Boston Harbor views, or soak in the early American history in the Beacon Hill neighborhood. You could also take some time to see other must-see spots around Boston or do your own lobster roll taste-test at the best spots in town! Explore Beantown to the fullest!
