Explore Famous Chicago Movie Sites

A private tour with Chicago Tour Hub is always a completely custom itinerary, created just for you and your group! A private city tour of Chicago can be from 4 hours – 10 hours, depending on the destination. Pick-up and Drop-off locations are the group’s choice. While many visitors to Chicago have specific sites they would like to see, many are happy to let our team create a custom itinerary that fits their interests, budget, mobility, and timeline. Typically, tours spend most of their time in and around downtown Chicago, but we welcome any ideas for your dream tour.

No two groups are alike and we will plan a trip tailored to your group’s interests, budget, and needs. Below are some sample itineraries to use as inspiration for your perfect tour:

Highlights Tour:

A tour designed to hit some of Chicago’s must-see TV & movie filming locations may include stops at locations from hit movies such-as the action-packed Dark Knight, the 90’s classic romantic comedy My Best Friend’s Wedding, and every kid’s dream, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off – a true love letter to Chicago. These  tours are usually focused on driving, with limited time to explore on foot.

Half-Day Tour:

A half-day tour allows more opportunity for you to take full advantage of being on a driving tour. You’ll visit plenty of must-see spots from popular films, as well as having time to explore locations from TV shows and other movies, and spending more time seeing these locations up close, on foot. Head into the Hilton Hotel of Chicago or visit other locations around the city from the thriller The Fugitive, avoid a pileup on Lower Wacker Drive (from The Blues Brothers), see the Chicago Fire Academy, where the TV show Chicago Fire is filmed, or take a tour of the iconic Wrigley Field which has been used in countless films, including Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and A League of Their Own.

Full-Day Tour:

A full-day tour gives you the chance to explore filming locations from nearly as many movies and TV shows as you want! Head out to the suburbs to see Kevin McAllister’s house from Home Alone, grab a drink at Emmit’s Pub, like Linus did in Ocean’s 11, or relive the 90’s and check out the Rainbo Club and Biograph Theatre, from High Fidelity. In between stops, we’ll show you some of the iconic historic and architectural sights of the city, you’ll experience a wonderful variety of neighborhoods, and you’ll get your fill of the city’s history, art, and culture.
