Explore the Rocky Mountains

A private tour with WeVenture Denver is always a completely custom itinerary, created just for you and your group! A private tour can be from 8 hours – 10 hours, depending on the destination. Pick-up and drop-off locations are the group’s choice. While many visitors to Colorado have specific sites they would like to see, many are happy to let our team create a custom itinerary that fits their interests, budget, mobility, and timeline.

No two groups are alike and we will plan a trip tailored to your group’s interests, budget, and needs. Below are some sample itineraries to use as inspiration for your perfect tour:

Full-Day Tour

Every tour starts with a 90-minute to 2-hour drive out of Denver and towards the picturesque Rocky Mountains. Whether you decide to begin in Estes Park or Rocky Mountain National Park, they are very close to each other, and both are a great way to start your tour. Along the drive, you’ll get to know your guide and hear some history about Denver, the U.S. National Park system, and the city of Estes Park.

As you wind through the quintessential Colorado mountain landscape, you’ll learn about the adventures had by some well-known historical characters “out West” as well as the modern-day attractions enjoyed by locals and visitors alike.

Rocky Mountain National Park is top of the list for U.S. National Parks – a must-see for visitors to the U.S., Americans, and area locals. This postcard-perfect park is home to everything an outdoor-lover could ever want hiking trails of all lengths and difficulties (two of our favorites are hikes to Emerald Lake and to Glacier Gorge), wildlife (such as bighorn sheep, elk, mule deer), sweeping vistas (like a drive up to the park’s highest-elevation point, Gore Range Overlook), and, of course, the snow-capped Rocky Mountains.

Estes Park acts as a gateway to RMNP, and it offers equally awesome activities, views, and natural beauty. With its historic mining town feel, the main street shopping area provides you the chance to find your perfect souvenir or pick out your favorite flavor of taffy. It is a wonderful hidden gem of the Rockies!

Other area options include visiting a brewery to try a craft beer, grabbing lunch at a local restaurant, taking on a more adventurous activity (like kayaking or horseback riding), or you can visit the iconic Stanley Hotel, made famous by Stephen King in The Shining. Your Rockies wish is our command!
