Highlights Tour

A highlights tour (2-3 hours) is the perfect way to really capture the essence of one of New Orleans’ diverse neighborhoods!

You’ll certainly want to include a French Quarter tour segment to experience the top New Orleans attractions that bring travelers from all over to The Big Easy. As you walk the historic streets lined with colorful buildings with cast-iron balconies, you’ll learn about the city’s history as a melting pot of cultures as well as the resulting food and architecture scene New Orleans is famous for today. Your local New Orleans tour guide will lead you past well-known tourist destinations and local hidden gems, from Pirate’s Alley to the open-air French Market, where you can find the perfect souvenir!

Other landmarks we’ll want to explore include Jackson Square and the gorgeous 18th century St. Louis Cathedral. Our culture and history tour can continue on boisterous Bourbon Street, famous for its bars and associations with the city’s early jazz scene.

Half-Day Tour

A 4-6–hour sightseeing in New Orleans tour will allow your group a slower-paced experience, fully enjoying everything the French Quarter has to offer as well as some other notable neighborhoods.

The Garden District is one such neighborhood, its streets lined with iconic Spanish moss–laden oaks and grand historic mansions. After we take in the incredible Antebellum architecture and hear about the area’s connection to Hollywood, we’ll take our sightseeing tour to Magazine Street to see what early life was like for the city’s working class, featuring New Orleans’ shotgun-style homes.

Just beyond the French Quarter lie the Marigny and Tremé neighborhoods, both bursting with color and eclectic architectural styles. You’ll be transported to 19th century New Orleans as you listen to stories behind the buildings of the Marigny, leading up to the jazz scene that once boomed at turn-of-the-century Tremé.

Full-Day Tour

Go all out with us on this New Orleans city tour up to 8 hours, with a chance to include the highlights and half-day essentials plus more time to reach other neighborhoods via public transit or otherwise!

Enjoy a ride along Canal Street aboard one of the city’s charming streetcars. We can hop off our private tour vehicle to enjoy more beautiful architecture and the unique character of the Mid-City neighborhood or continue all the way to City Park, a stunning green space with stone bridges over meandering streams and some of the city’s most impressive trees, including the Dueling Oaks. The park is also home to the New Orleans Botanical Garden and New Orleans Museum of Art.

Heading upriver to Uptown / Carrollton, we’ll have the chance to explore the stately grounds of two prominent institutions of higher learning, Tulane University and Loyola University. Nearby, we can spot some wildlife at Audubon Park, a former plantation and now an urban oasis and home to Audubon Zoo. Your tour guide can show you some hidden history of the park, from its Civil War monuments to its centuries-old tree specimens.
