Summary

Cruise the streets and take in the top sites of Philadelphia and its waterfront on this e-bike tour exploring some of the city’s most historic and trendiest neighborhoods!

Your Philly bike tour starts out from our riverside hub, where we’ll provide you with your own e-bike, earphones, and a friendly local guide to lead the way! We’ll begin our narrated tour along the Delaware River Trail and down to Spruce Street Harbor Park, an urban oasis for both visitors and locals alike.

Other sites of interest we may pass by along the way include the oldest church in Pennsylvania and an unassuming park where a famous and often misunderstood treaty was made between the indigenous tribes and the city’s founder.

As you pedal along with ease, your tour guide will share the fascinating history of the river and its importance to the area and its inhabitants, from Native American hunters and fishermen to the American colonists during wartime.

We’ll take our bike tour off the trail and into the nearby neighborhoods of Society Hill and Old City. You’ll be charmed by the beautiful homes and greenways of the former, while you’ll be awed by the iconic landmarks of the historic district, like Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell. As we pass by these famous American Revolutionary sites, your tour guide will provide you with a background of Philadelphia as the birthplace of American independence.

From here, we’ll head north to the trendier neighborhoods of Fishtown and Northern Liberties. Your tour guide will have plenty of recommendations for post-tour dining and drinking in these areas known for their diverse food scenes.

On our way back to the starting location, we’ll make a quick detour onto the Benjamin Franklin Bridge, connecting Philadelphia to the state of New Jersey and offering spectacular views of Philadelphia and the Delaware River.

Following your tour on two wheels, you might want to strike out on foot to delve deeper into your favorite segments of your biking adventure!
