A private tour with WeVenture Seattle is always a completely custom itinerary, created just for you and your group! A private city walking tour of Seattle can be from 2 hours – 6 hours, depending on the destination. While many visitors to Seattle have specific sites they would like to see, many are happy to let our team create a custom itinerary that fits their interests, budget, mobility, and timeline. Typically, tours spend most of their time in and around central Seattle, but we welcome any ideas for your dream tour.

No two groups are alike and we will plan a trip tailored to your group’s interests, budget, and needs. Below are some sample itineraries to use as inspiration for your perfect tour:

Highlights Tour: Your local guide will introduce you to the best of Seattle on a 2-3–hour walking tour of Pike Place area and Seattle waterfront. As you make your way through the maze of farmer stalls and unique retail shops of Pike Place Market, you’ll hear stories of the market’s founding, the influence of immigrants on its cuisine and culture, and get your guide’s top recommendations on the best eats in the market. Watch out for flying fish and decide whether you want to queue up for a coffee after your tour at the original Starbucks. We can stop at (or skip) the infamous gum wall, where you can add your own contribution if you choose!

The waterfront is only a short walk away from the market and where we can enjoy views across the Puget Sound, with the Olympic Mountains off in the distance. Take your time shopping for souvenirs, check out a truly weird curiosity shop, and arrange tickets for the Seattle Great Wheel, a ferris wheel with great views of the Sound and city. Your guide will entertain with stories of the area’s indigenous past and the city’s founding, denoted by lesser-known markers along Alaskan Way.

Half-Day Tour: Our half-day option (4-6 hours) gives some extra time to delve into the deeper layers of Pike Place Market and its one-of-a-kind comic book and novelty shops. We can even build in time to do some antique shopping nearby for something truly unique to take home.

We can also extend our stay near Elliott Bay, where your guide will tell you all about the surprising variety of wildlife living in and around the city and Seattle’s sustainability efforts. This might inspire a visit to the waterfront’s Seattle Aquarium, where we can arrange admission following the tour.

To enjoy more of the shoreline, we can head north to Olympic Sculpture Park, exploring this recreational space with architecturally interesting monuments scattered throughout. From here, you can head into the nearby Belltown and Queen Anne neighborhoods – home to the Space Needle – head back to Pike Place for more food, or just relax at the park and enjoy the beautiful views.
