Summary

A private tour to Snoqualmie Falls and Leavenworth is the perfect way to spend a day outside of Seattle. Your local Seattle tour guide will pick you up from anywhere in the city, and you’ll soon be cruising through the beautiful Cascade Mountains of Washington State.

During the two to two-and-a-half-hour drive, your tour guide will get to know you and you’ll get to know all about the wildlife and natural history of the Pacific Northwest. And since this is a private driving tour, we’ll have opportunities to stop for breaks, photo ops, and snacks.

Our main destination is a curious town nestled in the very eastern edge of the Cascades and where you’ll think we’ve arrived in the Bavarian alps. Welcome to Leavenworth, Washington! Once in town, your guide will be happy to take you on a guided Leavenworth tour, featuring its charming alpine German-style houses and quirky history.

You’ll have time here for a sit-down restaurant to enjoy traditional German cuisine, or we can opt for a grab-and-go lunch to continue exploring around the village. The city parks offer short, easy nature trails and scenic views of the Wenatchee River. Just outside of town lie sprawling vineyards, orchards, and fields – our driving tour can include stops at farm stands to enjoy locally grown products, depending on the season.

Our other top Washington State tour attraction lies closer to Seattle, the jaw-droppingly beautiful Snoqualmie Falls. We’ll be able to view the 268-foot waterfall from both the top and bottom – plenty of great photo ops! You’ll learn about the area’s pre-history and modern-day conservation efforts before settling back in your private tour vehicle for the relaxing ride back to Seattle.
