On this private tour customized for just you and your group, you’ll get to visit the beautiful historic Mission of San Juan Capistrano. Your local guide will take you through time as you explore the Mission’s architectural styles and spaces, each having been influenced by politics, the economy, and environment

Discover the ornate Golden Altar hidden away in a sanctuary, the nature contained in the Mission courtyard, and the Sacred Garden and its campanario. You’ll learn about the fascinating lore and origins of the area, including that of Saint Junipero Serra, the Swallows of San Juan, and Native American early history.

Outside the Mission, we’ll have a chance to walk through the oldest continually occupied neighborhood in the state, where you’ll see adobe houses that date back to the late 1700s!

Here in the Los Rios Historic District, your guide will show you their favorite hidden gems within the district, including one of the neighborhood wineries. Sit back and sip as your guide connects the history of the workers of Los Rios to the nearby Mission and enjoy the tranquility and nature that this small town is known for.

Your guide will have plenty of recommendations on more places to explore following your tour!
