Newport Beach has a reputation as a playground for the rich and famous. And although we may not come close to the sort of affluence we’ll see in the multimillion-dollar homes here, we’ll still be able to enjoy all the recreational activities that this coastal city has to offer.
After your guide picks you up from your preferred location in the Greater Los Angeles area, you’ll be transported to the luxurious harbor town surrounded by gently rolling hills. Your guide will point out some of the most extraordinary mansions perched on the hillsides and those that are home to Hollywood stars.
Another great way to see the sights is by bicycle: we’ll arrange rentals for you and your group to ride along the beach path to Balboa Island, stopping for views and enjoying lunch at one of your guide’s recommended spots.
Depending on the time of year and your budget and interests, we can embark on a two-hour whale-watching adventure on the Pacific Ocean. Your guide will fill you in on the area’s fascinating wildlife as you keep your eyes peeled for blue whales, finback whales, and gray whales breaching the surface!
Our favorite way to wrap up an all-day outing is to grab a local microbrew at one of Newport Beach Pier’s taprooms. We can recount the day’s experience over drinks and snacks as we watch a typically breathtaking California sunset.
