Summary

Your private Whidbey Island tour starts with a drive to the ferry*, where we’ll be able to head above deck to enjoy beautiful views of the Sound and – who knows? – maybe even some wildlife! Once on the island, get ready for a lovely drive through field and forest with plenty of tour attractions along the way.

For our history buffs, we’ll make a tour stop at a historic fort overlooking the bay. Here, you can learn why Whidbey was a vital location for the United States since the late 1800s. We can take some time to explore the grounds of the historical reserve and a beautifully restored lighthouse.

If there are any nature lovers in the group, your tour guide will be happy to take you on an easy guided hike in one of the island’s state parks or even arrange admission to a formal woodland garden. Among the top attractions that’s a must-see, however, is Deception Pass State Park. Test your mettle on the 180-foot-high bridge walkway, or head below along the beach for some of the most surreal and unbelievable views in the state.

During your private driving tour of Whidbey Island, you’ll have the opportunity to stop at one of the picturesque towns along the coast and where you can enjoy lunch and shopping. Marionberry pie and coffee, anyone?

After a full day of sightseeing and hitting the top places to visit on Whidbey Island, you’ll be ready to settle in for the ride back to Seattle!
