Quick Details
Our Cheers to Philly Tour is a combination of a Private Half-Day Driving Tour of Philadelphia and a Craft Beer Walking Tour – you’ll experience the best of the city and some amazing local brews all in one epic day! This tour runs from 1:00pm – 7:00pm.
Your 4-hour Private Driving Tour is from 1:00 – 5:00pm and can start anywhere you like, typically guests either get picked up at their hotel or meet their guide at our location in Old City. Our private driving tours are custom itineraries, so your guide will be able to craft a route for your group that will get you to the sights you would like to visit most, without overlapping the itineraries in your tour package. A 4-hour tour allows more opportunity for you to take full advantage of being on a driving tour. You’ll visit all of the Must-See Spots, like Independence National Park, a stop for a photo at the world-famous Love Park, or a run up the Rocky Steps at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, as well as having time to explore even more famous sights and other neighborhoods – like driving through the colorful Italian Market, getting out of the van to go into the Liberty Bell Exhibit, or seeing the incredible and imposing Eastern State Penitentiary where Al Capone was once held.
Your 2-hour Craft Beer Walking Tour is from 5:00 – 7:00pm. Your driving tour guide will drop you off at the starting location for your group tour – at Dilworth Park in Center City. Your Philadelphia beer tour begins at the very heart of modern Philadelphia, City Hall. As you exit this popular meeting place, you’ll discover some of the sights and sounds of Philadelphia as people are concluding their work day. Like many others at this time of day, your group will head to our first happy hour destination. You will choose among some of the most unique, most typical, and most popular drinking establishments in the City. There will be the option to visit the oldest continuously operating bar in the City dating back to 1860, a place where they make their own beer just steps away from your table, an Irish pub with a local flare, and many other bars and pubs so popular with Philadelphians. At each location, you’ll learn about the history of these bars, why they are so popular, and why locals crave a unique and authentic setting to enjoy food and drinks with friends, family, and co-workers. One drink at each bar is included with the tour, as well as a quick stop for one of the most popular snacks in the city, perfect with your beer!
At each location, the bars will feature one thing in common with each other – a taste for Philadelphia’s local craft beers and breweries. You’ll quickly find out why Philadelphia is one of America’s best beer cities. You’ll learn the names and discover the tastes of places such as Philadelphia Brewing Co., Victory, Yards, Troegs, Flying Fish, Sly Fox, Dogfish Head, and Dock Street Brewing Co. After happy hour, end your Philly beer tour in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood, a perfect location for you to continue on your Philly beer journey, grab some dinner at many of Philadelphia’s best restaurants nearby, or head straight back to your new favorite Philadelphia pub.
